Ophir is a rocktronica project started by Indica Trichome Project (ITP) keyboardist and drummer Matthew DeMeritt. It is more loop-based than ITP, with a special emphasis on cheap synth sounds, atmospheric textures, and experimental, multi-layered rhythms. In early 2007, singer, songwriter, and producer Holly Lindin joined Ophir as a lyricist and vocalist, bringing with her 15 years of experience in the music business and elements of linguistic spirituality, a love of the occult, and strong vocal chops.
