Ok, sorry for the hold up but I didn't see you previous post on my message board where you left feedback. My apologies.
"Moon Dance", I really like this song... excpet for the begginning when somebody wasn't on their job... :). Anywway, the lyrics to the song are great. I wish somebody felt like that about me. & I love the simple guitar & conga. Niceness. I love the record all the way around. Nancy has a nice voice btw. Very classic & validating.
I've added you guys to my.soundclick. The music was a great experience & I look forward to hearing back from you. & once again sorry for not responding earlier.

Most of the comments here seem to be from locals who have attended your open mike. Well, just wanted to let you know I've been listening to your site from California and I, too, think it's sad you're closing. Your site has been an inspiration for some of us regulars at an open mike here in Yorba Linda. We thought posting of live performances was a great idea and appreciated that someone would take that much effort and care. We are planning to follow suit pretty soon, and I only hope we do as good a job with what we post. I know the music will be wonderful, and I hope you come around to hear it. Thanks again, and best wishes.

So sorry to hear about the untimely end to the Now & Zen Cafe! I truly enjoyed coming to your coffeehouse, and really enjoyed playing the open-mics there. Nancy, you will truly be missed! You always served the best tropical-flavored smoothies, and yes, I will still wear my Now & Zen t-shirt!

Wow...this is so sad...I have really enjoyed playing at Now & Zen. Thank you Nancy for making a place for non-professionals to play. I SURVIVED OPEN MIC.... and you will too. Last night was my first time performing at Now&Zen and I had a great time, thanks to all for making it a great experience. Thanks to Rich for the hosting, his tech support, and great sound mix. Big thanks to Chris for the fantastic job on percussion. Chris was trying hard to escape after playing the first set, but graciously agreed to play along for my set, sight unseen. Thank you again! And big BIG thanks to Nancy for the great cup of capacino for inspiration. Also, thanks to all the performers for sharing their talents, it was all good. This is a well run, laid back open mic. The cool thing is that the performers are diverse in ages and taste, and the audience is polite and supportive of everyone. Oops, that's two things. Anyway, I'm looking forward to next time. See you all soon!
