Onexus Overflow

I started rhyming/writing with 3 other talented peeps, that I met when moving to the west end of the city around the age of 19. We "loosely" called ourselves the "North Star Nebula" and I say loosely cause as a band we eventually disbanded, due to everyone kinda branching off to their own paths. I still see one of the 3 from time to time, so I see some collabos in the near future...That being said I do alot of solo stuff. I produce my own beats and nowadays I'm trying to hone my mixing skills to save me some loot. But when it comes to tracking vocals for my tracks I still prefer to go see my engineer.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
I've done some live shows in the past, and it is fun. The most memorable show I can remember was doing an unsigned hype show with my friend Marvin aka Gentile aka The Golden Child, it was cool chilling with other groups, hearing their stuff, yea it was real cool.
Your musical influences
geez, I mean I listen to a lot of stuff, outside of "hiphop" like jazz, rock, blues, classical, metal (well some types), punk, ambient, house, dnb, electronica, jungle, all in all if I'm feeling it, I'll listen to it... but for the sake of hip hop I would say my influences are...aww man now you making me get up and go to my music stash, fortunately most of it is in alphabetical order he he All City Alkaholics Artifacts A Tribe Called Quest AZ Beatnuts Big L Big Noyd Black Eyed Peas Big Punisher Black Moon Black Sheep Brand Nubian Bums Busta Rhymes Camp Lo Capone-N-Noreaga Channel Live Cocoa Brovaz Common Sense Craig Mack Cru Dabrye Das Efx De La Soul Del The Funky Homosapien Dmx Dre Dre Epmd Erick Sermon Eric B. & Rakim Fat Joe Frankie Cutlass Fugees Gang Starr Genius/Gza Ghetto Concept Ghostface Killah Goodie Mob Grand Puba Gravediggaz Group Home Hard 2 Obtain Heltah Skeltah Hieroglyphics Ice Cube Ice-T Inspectah Deck Jay-Z Jedi MInd Tricks Jeru The Damaja J-Live Kanye West Kardinall Offishall Keith Murray Killah Priest King Just KRS-One Kurupt Lauryn Hill Leaders Of The New School Lord Finesse Lost Boyz Ludacris Mad Skillz Masta Ace Incorporated Method Man Mic Geronim Mobb Deep Mood Mos Def Nas Neptunes N.O.R.E. I pretty much use my cpu with a few software applications installed on them like Reason 3.0 (got Reason 4.0 but waiting for new cpu to install that one) Pro Tools Le, Cool Edit Pro, WaveLab and some vst's, oh ya I use a micro korg as well.
Anything else?
All I can say is I hope y'all enjoy my music and thx for checking me out. One.
