One of The Best Ent!!!
"We Gotta Get It How It Is, Or Get It How We Live"
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
One of the Best Ent was created by D-Rella during summer 2000 and as an up in coming label, a movement to be delt with...With official music coming out starting in 2003, its been nothing but growth from the artists, the production, the recording, the mixing, and overall exposure...Starting out by himself, D-Rell had to learn everything on his own.."It was hard man...like if anyone thats heard my first recordings and hear the recordings now...its like night and day..I didnt have a big homie or someone already in the business to guide me so in a way that helped and hurt me..it helped because it allowed me to create my own style and forced me to learn about everything instead of just only focusing on one part...it hurt me because it took time to learn all the things i did, most of it being something i coulda been taught..." While playing football D-Rell met a future frequent colaborator in Joe Blazin'.."Ah when i met Joe, this man was jus this quiet dude that our coach brought on to play on the squad..niggas on the team we're jus hittin the weights and freestyle'n and we got that man to drop something...ever since then i been workin with that man...that shit was hot..and he was part of TMC (Track Murderer Click) and he put me on to Authentic...Needless to say we got good chemistry..." And it was a chance encounter during a before the school rap session that put D-Rell on to S.B. Kassa..."i always seen that man Kassa around, like, we were cool, real cool put i didnt even know son rhymed...one day he seen us around pumpin tapes (yes tapes)..and he was jus around...then one day we postin up before class and i go out to the car...it was me and my man Ekliptix..then he came along..so we in the car bustin' or whateva and im like spit....i aint gonna front it was aight...really choppy but i believed he would have someting...told him to keep writting....we recorded some stuff...then i went off to college...nigga hits me like 2-3months in like yo i got some heat...and im still thinkin the old Kassa, then next thing i know im hearing the Kassa all yall hearing now!!!! Son really impressed me with his work ethic and how much he really wants this man..."
