Hi, I am One Man Band. I am self produced solo artist I write, arrange, record and produce my own music. Currently living in Mexico and I've spent most of my music carreer as a street musician. I have just released my third Album on the 01/04 /2009. It is called "A change is coming around"
Have you performed in front of an audience?
I play live to promote my cd. As I currently live in Mexico I live in a Mexican beach resort and sell my cd to tourists. I play the occasional restaurant or hotel but mainly play as a street musician.
Your musical influences
Creedence, Cat Stevens, Chuck Berry, Fleetwood Mac, Eagles, Beatles, blues in general
What equipment do you use?
PC, guitar (electric and acoustic), synth.
Anything else?
My musical career has basically been as a street musician. I started late in life at the age of 28 when I bought a guitar and decided to give it a try. At the age of 30 I moved to Mexico and began playing in restaurants for tips with just an acoustic guitar. Stuff like Creedence Bee Gees Beatles. I play stuff in Spanish as well but my goal had always been to record my own music. From the money I earned playing for tips I saved to buy my self my computer and studio equipment. As nobody was interested in helping me with my music I ended up having to do it all myself. Writing arranging and playing all instruments. Currently I sell my third cd to tourists in a Mexican resort again in the restaurants directly with the customers. A unique way to survive and 'make' it as musican but hey, we all have to start somewhere.
