One Last Stand

Does it seem like everywhere you turn, another band emerges playing the same, four-chord driven songs? Nothing new. Nothing exciting. Nothing... real. Well, the boredom stops here. One Last Stand is breaking onto the scene with a whole new sound. Get ready. And what, exactly, makes this band’s sound and performance different from any other, you may ask?
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
“Our sound is different because of our different backgrounds. Everyone brings something (or multiple things) to the table to create a very original sound. On any given song you could have aggression of a metal song, upbeat energy of ska, or speed and power of punk, or any other number of things. Sometimes they're all mixed into one song,” says OLS drummer Mike Wyatt. “That diversity usually draws people in when they hear us. We're not a ‘punk band.’ We're not a ‘metal band.’ We're just a band whose specialty is not having one.” “I feel everyone should listen because its a brand new thing... it'll definitely make your jaw drop, cause its nothing like you've heard before!” added guitarist, Kurt Meakim. Don't just take the guys' word for it, though. Afterall, hearing is believing. So get to an upcoming show near you, and see for yourself the energy and excitement that is One Last Stand!
