New band, New music, New perspective...
One From Yourself is the brand new final product of an unremitting group of four friends from southwest Philadelphia that have overcome personal differences to do what they love the most; play music.
While uncovering the fact that they each shared this same priority, they immediately came together and formed a group called double-o-seven. They soon became aware of the oncoming talent by the huge crowds they would draw on the weekends, but once high school was out of the picture, and with the lead guitarist going away to college, the band parted ways to pursue other interests. Shorltly afterwards, the passion to play became too strong, even if it meant being a three-piece.
After spending myriad time perfecting the sound you hear today, they decided to complete the ensemble with a singer. Sparks were flying after finally pressuring life-long friend Chris Dryden to sing for them, which completed the machine that One From Yourself has become today.
Filled to the brim with highly energetic live performances and unique song-writing, One From Yourself has that sound you must hear for yourself to get the full 1FY experience that has been growing since early 1996.
