One Away
The Montreal idie rock band One Away is making noise everywhere they go. They bring a powerful and energetic live rock show at a professional level while their music is packed with melody and solid rhythm appealing to a wide range of audience.
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
In terms of history, we've done plenty from winning and being top 3 in all competitions we entered, getting a bunch of reviews and interviews (TV and radio), performing on Musique Plus, guest judging a battle of the bands, and the list goes on. We still have hundreds and thousands of things to achieve, and are in the writting process currently working on a promo CD to push some new material to labels. Keep an eye out.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
We love to play live anywhere where there may be someone listening and/or watching. We are a live band and bring a powerful live show (judging from the response and feedback we get from people att he shows). I can write all I want, but if you get a chance, come see for yourself. It will be the best 5$ ever spent. And when your finished that beer, the other 5$ for entrance will also be worth it.

U2, Our Lady Peace, 3 Doors Down, Finger Eleven, I Mother Eearth, Tea Party, Cold Play, the list goes on and on.
What equipment do you use?
NONE OF YOU BUSINESS !!! Usual rock stuff. Pearl drums, Mesa guitar amps, Bass POD and effects, Shure mics.
