Omri Anghel
Omri Anghel is a NYC and Tel Aviv based singer/songwriter, producer, DJ, and human beatboxer. “Disconnecting” is his debut solo album, which combines modern rock, naked folk and dreamy soul.
Anghel has been making music since he was 5 years old, beatboxing live around Israel.
During the past 10 years he has immersed himself in Urban and Dance Music production, releasing numerous singles and remixes on different labels such as Tommy Boy, Strictly Rhythm, Twisted America, Jellybean Recordings, Whoop! UK and many more.
Anghel released the first ever Human Beatbox sample CD through acclaimed Canadian distribution company Big Fish Audio, titled “Phat beats from the box”, released in 2003, featuring two more world renowned Human Beatboxers Kenny Muhammad and Baba Israel.
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
Omri Anghel worked closely with acclaimed Israeli singer/songwriter Assaf Amdursky in the duo named “Hard Attack”. The Duo worked with Dance music pioneers such as Jellybean Benitez, RuPaul, Darrell Martin, Peter Rauhofer, and many more.
Anghel has collaborated with Lady Miss Kier of “Deee Lite” fame on numerous projects.
He is also a part of the NYC Funk Rock band “K and The Boys” as a drummer, songwriter, arranger, and producer.
Anghel is now busy working on his brother Ido Anghel’s debut album, and producing three different Israeli artists in the Rock and Urban genres.

NYC is our base, and we also perform in Tel Aviv.
