Olivia Cornell
Singer-songwriter Olivia Cornell plays her own original style of soulful hard-folkin, rough grown rock. Her compelling songs and lyrics show a respect for craft rarely seen in today?s young artists. Originally from Brunswick, Maine, Olivia studied opera before picking up guitar. She received her BFA in Music Compisition from SUNY Purchase (with honors) in 1991. Since then, Olivia has played solo and with her band in New York City, gaining steady praise from critics (like Richard Gehr) and fans as well. Olivia produced 2CD's with Danny Kadar,YOUNG SOUL CITY and COROLLA ,delivering poignant & personal songs that reflect her sincere and pure devotion to music.

Olivia played in New York City at Brownies, Arlene Grocery, The Wetlands, Continental and CBGB's. Now she plays with and without her band in Portland, Maine.
