Ole Buddy a.k.a Benjamin Rice Jr. was born and raised in Anderson, South Carolina.He relocated to Belton,a small town outside of Anderson at the age of 13 years old. He developed a passion for music at the age of 15 ( influence by artists such as Run Dmc,LL Cool J,Biggie,Tupac,Jay-z ) and begin to write and perform his own music while at school,talent shows,youth centers ect.In 1996 Ole Buddy and long time friend Rex (P Dash) and Titus (Noa) formed a group called The Knuckle Headz.The group soon afterwards hooked up with a indie label called Southern Pain and dropped a Compilation album.They Got a tremendous buzz from the album and sold about 10,000 units that year.Ole Buddy said they all where young so the group didn't get the money they were suppose to get.The Knuckle headz decided to separate in 1997 due to personal reason and work on solo albums.Ole Buddy has been featured on over 50 artists albums and mixtapes and did a one album deal with 2 friends that he met in 2004 with no strings attached and his buzz got even bigger.He is currently working on his first hightly anticipated solo album entitled " I Got Dat Product" and trust me from what i have heard myself,he got it.Ole Buddy is an artist to watch and will be a star in the next year or so.I advise all indie and major labels to get at this guy and signed him.Ole Buddy is Money in the bank.Have you performed in front of an audience?I do shows allover whenever i have the chance to jump in a showcase,get booked for a show ect. My most special moment is when i did my thang down in Mia on South Beach.
