Old Gits on Skateboards

So what's all this Old Gits on Skateboards lark then. Well let me take you back a little while. Actually let me take you back a long while. When I was just blosoming into my teenage years in South Wales, a pal of mine came running up the street with an American skateboard magazine. We hadn't seen anything like a skateboard before but were blown away by the images. We promptly took our old skates apart and nailed them onto planks of wood and trundled around the streets trying to look like Stacy Peralta (the board king of the time). Pretty soon skateboarding had taken off in the UK and we were riding half pipes and performing all kinds of tricks - marvellous. Some of the most enjoyable times of my life. Moving forward to middle age (yikes!) I often fancied getting back on a board but I was an old git and would be embarresed. Then one day I thought fuck it! I went out and bought a board and headed for the park. I loved every minute of it :) So Basically 'Old Gits On Skateboards'is my way of saying fuck it, if you enjoy it do it :)) There will be musical doddlings, some complete some just ideas or even a recording of 'the board' in action, put up for your enjoyment. I may be getting on a bit but i can give my tunes a bash - So watch this space. Good times to you all :)
