Of One Fatal Word
We are Of One Fatal Word, a post-hardcore band based in Brighton, UK. We are a 5 piece, consisting of Sam Peerless (vocals), Kavan Webb (guitar), Jed Gardner (guitar), Adam Warren (bass) and Matt White (drums). We have 2 EP's. Our debut 'Glorious Riot EP' and a split EP with Bexhill-on-Sea post hardcore outfit 'My Dearest Enemy'
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
How it All Began....
Of One Fatal Word started out as we are now in about June 2003. We were formed from the remains of a band called "Someone Else", which was Sam (vocals), Kav (Guitar), Jed (Bass), Matt (Drums) and Sonna (Guitar).
The band ceased to be in around April and so OOFW was born. Sonna left to go to University and Jed stepped up to play guitar along side Kav. This is where we met our first challenge, we had no one to play the Bass.
After a few weeks passed, a couple of songs were on the way, but we still needed a Bassist, luckily a fine fellow named Adam whom we had worked with (and 'we' are Matt, Jed and Kav) surprised us with his new found talents and enthusiasm and so he was recruited for the position.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
We play live regularly around Brighton, Eastbourne, Seaford and the surrounding areas. We have played at the Pressure Point in Brighton, which has also had Lost Prophets and Oasis play there before.

What equipment do you use?
Our Drummer has a Premier Kit, Guitarists have an Epiphone Les Paul Gothic Series, and a Metallica Replica guitar, with Marshall AVT150 stacks, our bassist uses a Squier P-Bass with a Peavey 350w Black Widow amp, and Our singer uses a Stagg 50's style Chrome mic
