although I'm focusing more on Myspace now, I'm still gonna keep this up and update it with new songs...all of my new songs are recorded in really high quality but I still like the gritty DIY vibe from my old stuff and it all still stands up lyrically and beatwise
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
I've been rhyming and making beats about 10 years...started out as Smoov Killah, then changed to PHAZE Tha Prolifik 1 when I started putting rhymes on the net (used to rhyme at Davey D's, Tha-Landz.com, CenterStage among other places) and then to Off Base in '98, been that ever since...I released an EP in 2001 called the Unsolvable Rubix Cube, which met to rave reviews from critics, and have appeared on numerous mixtapes and collaborations with other artists

All the classic hip-hop from the mid-80s to mid-90s...Rakim, Wu-Tang, Run-DMC, 2pac, Common, Ras Kass, ATCQ, De La Soul.

For the fans: Buy my album when it comes out to support real music being made. I know it's easy to just download it, but I put my heart and soul into my music and I hope I can make my dream come true and earn a living one day on it.
