Ocrana is a progressive rock and jazz band formed in 2003 in Melbourne by Min Qian Li and Ji-Hyun Li. The band was first formed as an experimental project for testing new types of sound and then became a band that now performs progressive works, more notably for incorporating different styles of music such as jazz into rock music. The band is scheduled to perform at their third concert in Melbourne at the end of 2006 and is set to release their first full album in 2007.

Have you performed in front of an audience?
For the past few years we've played live. Many of our performances were with other bands but we've also had two concerts by ourselves. Probably the most memorable moment was two years back at Hamer Hall when we made Alice breakdance half way through our program.
What equipment do you use?
Min and Alice mostly use Ibanez guitars, tube screamers and marshall amps. Maggie uses gibsons and fender amps. Karen's main keyboard is the Korg oasys and both of John's kits are from Tama. We use Sennheiser equipment for microphones and amplifying.
Anything else?
Thank you very much for the support we have received from our friends and fans, and of course, many thanks for our sponsorship with Ibisq. Also visit us at http://www.myspace.com/ocranaband Please support us!
