We like to think of ourselves as being 420 friendly. We can't really think of a style or genre that someone could fit us into, since if we were to even attempt to play a style, you wouldn't recognize it anyway. People have described our music as being something they imagine they might like to listen to while they were torturing an innocent person to death with a belt sander and ball peen hammer. As one might expect, our typical audience member has attempted suicide at least twice, been arrested for shoplifting, suspected in numerous hate crimes and hasn't taken a sober breath since the 6th grade, and you'll not find a better class of people, mark our words.
Band/artist history
After playing with countless lame guitarists Throm happened to find George, after placing yet another guitar player wanted add in the local music rag. George had been lounging around in his underwear hitting the bong when he decided to look through the want ads of the local music rag he'd been using to roll the seeds out of his stash before he smoked it. He saw Throms ad and made a call, and drove down the evening for their first rehearsal together creating abond that's been responsible for much of the great songs that they play. Well, since nobody has asked or said anything, I thought I ought to put in the word for our drummer, or the drummers we've had in the band. The first to play with George and Throm was an old burned out 60s rocker who would fall asleep at the set, when the meth he used when he could afford if, finally would wear off. The next was Bobby B, a handsome local scene icon well respected for his voracious appetite for the fairer sex, but being such that he was so endowed, that the inevitable fear of ruination upon it's first appearance filled his date's hearts with dread and panic and sent them fleeing for their lives as far and as fast as they could go. Before being pressed into service for 313 he had been a popular drummer who had played in a number of bands, but decided he needed a change of pace. Well, change of pace was right, but the demands made on him by the music and the gruelling touring and rehearsal schedule began to take it's toll on the band, with BobbyB, due the extreme physical nature of the music and the drumming requirements, seemed to be hit the hardest. The players were suffering extreme exhaustion, sleep deprivation, and were constantly in jet lag leading to the bands musical quality steadily and rapidily deteriorated after reaching an stunning level of performance during it's first 3 months of being comprised of the 3 players. In frustration and dispair George Fantastic quit the band for the first time and played in a number of moderately unsuccessfull bands performing both cover and original material for meager pay and even more meager audiences throughout the state. In a year he was back for a few months and then he left again to perform in a TV show band that was aired by public cable in 5 states troughout the USA. He went on to compose and play for a few commercial music productions and then returned after another 6 months to play once more for 313OCD.
