Occupied Nation
We're a punk rock band from V-Town, Vashon Island. It's kinda near Seattle. We write about stuff that pisses us off, try to point things out that we don't think people know, and sometimes just write stories about random shit and turn it into songs. The whole point of punk and anarchy is no rules thus we don't give our band sound or subject any rules.Band/artist history
We've had a bunch of members. We really just started being like a real band and having fans and shit.Have you performed in front of an audience? We play live whenever possible. Mostly on Vashon. We like when we can play fuller sets. Once our lead singer dropped his pants on stage at a high school open mic. It ruled.
Your musical influences
Good ol' three chord punk like Minor Threat, Casualties, Misfits. More "advanced" punk rock stuff like Leftover Crack and Choking Victim and they also tie into some ska stuff like Less Than Jake and the legendary Operation Ivy.What equipment do you use?
Guitars, amps, basses, PAs, speakers, drums, screams, moans, puking noises, and some real vox.Anything else?
Everyone should check out our more in-depth page at http://www.myspace.com/occupiednation
All of our demos are up there as FREELY DOWNLOADABLE Mp3s. Get 'em while they're up cuz once an album comes up ill pull em to help sells so we can make some money to tour. Oh yeah and anyone who wants to come along for the ride just ask!All comments (1)

Hey, "When You're Dead" wasn't that bad of a song. I liked the sound of it. But the lyrics don't really make sense to me. It's a really far stretch to say that somebody is going to die because they pay more for gas because they own a SUV. Anyways the song was too short in my opinion and as a word of advice: don't think your band is hot stuff just because its a punk band. You probably have still got a long ways to go to earning people's respect.
