Occular Sodomy
My name is Michael Gorney. I go by several different names here and there, and I thought that Occular Sodomy would be sort of funny, especially with the tagline "they never see it coming." Turns out I'm the only one amused by it, but that's all that matters, as far as I'm concerned.
As for me, I'm 21, and I reside in northern New Jersey. I'm a good kid, I swear. I work for Cingular Wireless as a data support representative at the moment, but I consider myself to be a musician and poet at heart.
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
I've been in a few bands here and there, but for now, it's just me.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
Nah, not really. I play for friends, I guess, upon request. I'm not a great guitarist or singer or anything.
Your musical influences
Oh, I love classic rock. And some other stuff, too. Currently infatuated with Blind Melon. Shannon Hoon is love.
What equipment do you use?
Washburn six-string acoustic electric, left-handed.
