Obsession Day

Obsession Day is gaining huge momentum with the release of their self titled debut. The band has received rave reveiws, radio spins, and the undying support from fans that most bands dream of.
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
We have been a band since 2003 as Dial 8 in a few different line ups but have remained the same since we've changed the band name to Obsession Day.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
We play live all over the southeastern states (AL,GA,FL,NC,SC,TN). We wouldn't be doing it if we didn't like it. Most energy on stage was us nearly getting struck by lighting, can't have more energy than that!
Your musical influences
Our influences include early U2, later Red Hot Chili Peppers, Coldplay, and The Cure. Basically the alternative modern rock guys.
What equipment do you use?
Guitar, Bass, Drums, Keyboards.
Anything else?
In an era when most band's records are better than their live show and when it's image over quality, Obsession Day stands a step above the rest, proving over and over again that they are the "total package". It is no surprise that the number of "obsessed" fans grows daily with the release of their self titled debut featuring 10 emotional, yet rocking tracks that have drawn comparisons to Coldplay, early U2, and later Red Hot Chilli Peppers and newer bands like Switchfoot, Lifehouse, The Killers and The Fray. The bands energetic live shows turn Obsession Day first time observers into instant fans with a single run of their set.
