Oak Tree was born in 2004, as a joint collaboration of long time friends Jeff Hechler and Will Dana
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
Jeff Hechler, a keyboardist, and Will Dana, a student of guitar once had the idea to play together. Starting by covering favorites, then eventually progressing further, the two becomes better musicians, and took this jamming into a band. With Hechler now on Bass and Lead Vocals, and Dana rockin' the lead guitar w/ face melting solos, the lineup had it's core. Drummer Danny Cohen soon joined, and then left early 2007. Hechler and Dana are currently seeking a new drummer and full time keys player.
