Oakland Av
Oakland Av was formed in the fall of 2004 after Dante Romito had moved into an apartment with Dave Ganchuck. Dave heard some of the songs that Dante had written, so he brought a drum set to the apartment. Michael Romito was invited to jam with the other two, and the band was formed. The band plays regularly while having various friends fill in on the bass. Influences include: the Beatles, the Rolling Stones, the Animals, the Who, the Doors, Pearl Jam, Dave Matthews Band, Counting Crows, Barenaked Ladies, the Foo Fighters, and many more.
