Formed in August 2007, the No Time Wasters are a twin-engined Premium Strength Powerpop band built on the core of the classic Songwriting skills of Jon Delaney (of Electroacoustic Song & Bass Duo Cloudy) and Jim Mooney (of postmodernist dark rock-pop The Dark Corners). Jon and Jim have been songwriting partners and sometimes bandmates since their teens. Now completed by the versatile rhythm section of Al Sutcliffe on bass and vocals and Paul Creedy on drums and percussion, The No Time Wasters have gigged constantly around the midlands, (including Coventry University) and the east of england throughout 2008, winning over hearts and minds as they go. They have received BBC and Independent Radio play and will be recording their debut album around Xmas.
