heres our bio:
Hailing from upstate NY, No Second Chances has been making waves sence their forming in mid 2004. The band started off with determination to be something great in the music buisness, and have been working hard on making a name for themselves. Initialy a trio, No Second Chances (deemed NSC) started off their career as a pop-punk band with a twist. The band formed from the ashes of guitarist Nick Lloyd and drummer Nick Lazarou's preveous project.
With the new name and a new bassist, Pat McGuire, came a whole new experience that the Montgomery county and surrounding areas were not ready for. For the initial few months, the band polished their skills, and unleashed on crowds in their locl areas of Johnstown, Balston Spa, and their own home town of Amsterdam. The completion of their first six track, self titled EP created a solid foundation to work off of and improve on. The CD was self manufactured and sold well among the locals at the shows.
After their first CD, the band started to move in a new direction. A change was evident in their newer songs such as ""Choke This"" and ""The Kiss Left Here to Die"" that the band had turned their aims to a hardcore genre of music. Pat McGuire soon joined Nick Lloyd in vocals and created music of a harder, and deeper nature. A change of tuning, more melodic riffs, and dynamic drum beats were not all that brought the band to a new plateu however. The addition of another guitarist, James Delvalle, was essential to the evolvolution of the band. With his added abilities, NSC has become something irreversable. New songs included ""Memories of Breathing"" and ""Grand Theft Dignity"" which were eaten up again at the shows.
In March of 2005, the band went back to the studio to record the ""A Walk To Kill EP,"" a five track show-case of their abilities. Recorded with Tim Lynch of The Recording Company in Nyskauna, the EP shows what the band has become. A far cry from that what was called their self-titled EP, the new release demonstrates what No Second Chances has become, and how quickly the band has progressed. The new ""hardcore meets rock"" style is individual and unlike many bands in the scene. Their newest song ""Blowing Kisses to a Firing Squad"" combines melodic aspects with brutal breakdowns, and it has the circle pits throwing down like never before. There is certainly a lot to be expected from No Second Chances in the near future. Following their progression rate, the band is headed the direction of something great.
