The time is almost here. I have been viciously tearing into the recording process and three songs have been recorded thus far. "The Caster of Stones" has been re-recorded and I must say that it sounds great, much better than the original recording (as heard on soundclick.) The title track of the album has also been recorded as well as the instrumental ending theme of the album. There are two more songs I am still working on, but everything will be done by this Monday, December 6th (hopefully sooner) and I will await your feedback on some the tracks from the album. CDs will be a mere $5 (postage/shipping included,) payable only by well concealed cash or money order. Once the album is finished and you are interested in a copy, send orders to cremisinorth@yahoo.com. A majority of the songs will be uploaded to soundclick so that you can get an idea of what NORTH is all about and how the change in equiptment effects the overall sound. For the release, there will be seven songs total

Just wanted to let everyone know that North will be recording very soon and will have a CD-R release(with cheap, flimsy paper CD sleeve) by early December. If anyone out there has had some experience with a BOSS DR-3 drum machine, I need some help. I do exactly as the manual says when forming songs out of my drum patterns and it is not working for some reason. At this point, that is the only thing delaying the recording. I'll be sure to let everyone know when the release is out, and I will definitely upload a song or two to soundclick. The song that is currently up for download, THE CASTER OF STONES, will also be re-recorded for the release. So those of you who commented on the drum sound, those problems will be taken care of. Thanks everyone for your support in these early days. Keep it black, bleak, and metal.

Thanks Lee for your anticipation and support! I can't wait to hear to the new GROSS material after you get all of the instrumentation organized and settled. As I've said before, I will have all North material recorded, mixed, and available by early December. Thanks again.

Hi I'm signing because I'm Aaron's friend and because I like his music. He am making a full length so maybe some label will release it, right Aaron? Can't think of any silly insults right now, so maybe next time!

Hahaha, thanks for the comments. Yes, the drums just plain suck. I mentioned in the North biography, that I use Fruity Loops for drum tracks. I am very limited, very very limited, as to what I can do. There are only three drum sounds that sound traditional and decent. They are the hi-hat, kick, and snare. That's it. I am hoping to invest into a decent and user friendly drum machine in the coming months, so hopefully the sound will be much better. If anyone out there knows of any good drum machines that are somewhat inexpensive and easy to use please let me know, as I have never really browsed the market for any and I could use all of the help I could get. Thanks again for the comments, part of the reason why I have North on soundclick is to get feedback and maybe some advice on what I can do to make the overall sound and production better. If anyone uses fruity loops for their own black metal project, please give me some pointers. Thanks again.

Great dissonant riffs here, and nice subterrainean vocals, but definately let down by the drum sound. The hi-hat is pretty much all I can hear. The rhythm is fine, but the track would benefit from a steady "BOOM - THWAK" using a better drum machine sound.

Thanks for the kind words. It's good to hear that someone other than myself and a close group of friends appreciates my music. Definitely keep checking back here over the next couple of weeks and I should have another song uploaded soon. I personally like the current song I am working on better (although it is a little slower than CASTER OF STONES.) Thanks again, horns to you.

Full length is still in the works. I am currently working on three new songs which are coming along nicely, even though they are still in the working stages. "The Waning Heart" EP is currently out for those interested. The EP contains five songs total, three finished, and two demo songs. Pretty shoddy stuff, but I will continue to work on those three tracks for the album, along with the new songs. If anyone is interested in a copy of the EP, contact me and I'll send you a copy for criticism/review. Thanks guys. Aaron
