Normandy Circle is a motivated and personable band, providing a great show no matter how large or small, calm or loud the audience is. This is because we believe in and love the world of live performances. Normandy Circle not only performs for their audience, but converses and has a great time along with their fans.
Normandy Circle's first show was November 25, 2000. Even in this short time, they have produced at an unexpected level for being a local band in Omaha. "The guys" grew up in the same area-a trait which gels and unites them as a team and in their sound.
Normandy Circle has played at the Ranch bowl several times, including an opening performance for The Urge. Normandy Circle was included in and went to the semi-finals of 89.7 The River's Battle of the Bands, they also were included in and WON the Mars Music Battle of the Bands.
Normandy Circle has also played a benefit for the Omaha school board. Among their performances have been their "Normandy Bash" concerts at Fun Plex, a new venue in Omaha. The first Normandy Bash drew over 700 guests for an indoor venue while over 1300 guests joined them outdoors for Normandy Bash ll.
Normandy Bash III - The CD Release Party, was an enormous success drawing nearly 1500 guests and selling almost 200 CD'sthis night was the first available time for fans to purchase the finished Album.
Normandy Circle played the Wake board festival on June 9th in Lexington, Nebraska. This event was sponsored by Oakley and many other national corporations. The Wake Board Festival has an opportunity to go on tour depending on the popularity of the event.
"Normandy Bash" and "Chill" are currently played on The River, 89.7 FM regularly. This is an honor less than a handful of Omaha bands have been able to experience.
Normandy Circle also opened for Blue October in July. Rockfest was yet another great opportunity for the band, being on the same bill as artists like Saliva, Three Doors Down, Tantric, Seven Mary Three, The Toadies, and Our Lady Peace.
The true performance of Normandy Circle is not only in the music, but in the energy and stage presence.
