Nomad Theory

__________________________________________ Nomad Theory consists of Fu-Quon and Posthumus, two up and coming emcees from the Dominican Republic that celebrate, and were influenced by, the abstract spirit and knowledge of Hip Hop.
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
Fu-Quon and Posthumus began writing rhymes somewhere around late '98. By getting involved with online textceeing and the netcee culture, they've elaborated their skills and are now touching the border with poetry. Influenced by mainly conscious Hip Hop music and Jamaican Reggae, they have managed to bring a great deal of sense and meaning to their rhymes. We have just recently started producing, and the results you see here are product of less than 6 months of experience. We hope you will enjoy the musical outcome, now mainly consisting of Hip Hop instrumentals, while we still struggle of doing online audio. A Nomad Theory album is being planned for late 2002/2003, date TBA.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
Not yet.
Your musical influences
Aesop Rock, Slug, Rakim, Sage Francis, Mos Def, Sole, Cannibal Ox, Bob Marley, among many others.
What equipment do you use?
For production, FruityLoops, and soon, Reason.
Anything else?
If any of you are stupid enough to use our beats for your own personal and intimate pleasure, we have no problem with it. Just make sure you state our name, and be kind to let us know the URL (in case it's online) so we can hear the final product.
