Band/artist history

Well, it all started in the summer of 2001, 3/4 of the current line-up decided to form a punk band after spliting from a previous band. No Less My Life was born. We started the way all bands do and learnt covers together. We soon began to integrate originals and would practice our set regularly at 'the lynx'.

We slowly got less shit as the weeks went on and our fist gig supporting 'impact' in Dan Campbells went well. Things went quiet for a while as we lost our drummer 'James'. However we kept it going and soon discovered the legend that is gerf!! We played our next gig at the golf club with lead guitarist 'Rab Pollard' on board. Once again a we lost a member, Rab, but carried on, this time our luck changed. We got a gig in 'The Front Page' and then got rebooked for two more gigs on the stength of our performance. By this time our set composed of only originals and we released our first demo ' Live From A Little Room'....and thats the story so far!

A year on from our first gig in Dan Campbells and a lot has happened! 2 demos have been put out, over 30 gigs have been played, including an Undead support slot, and the band is now taking a deserved break while Jamie attends Uni in Scotland. With a busy Christmas ahead including 5 gigs and a recording session NLML are gonna be doing what they love! With the same line up ( Hobbs Gaw Jamie Gerf ) that has lasted so long NLML show no signs of slowing up!

Back for a spree of gigs during Easter 2003, and with a horror punk tinge to their music, NLML supported GBH/Swellbellys in Ballymoney and Belfast. Organised a long overdue home town gig and take their music around the country. Before Jamie returns to uni they will have reached 46 gigs in total and celebrated a year together, bring on another 12 months of mayhem!

Early Summer of 2003 saw NLML hit 60 gigs including support slots with Five Knuckle and Eastfield. In July they had a great time on their first tour in which they played 4 dates around Scotland returning to find they had actually covered all expenses and infact made a profit. Plenty of new material ('Evil Feast', 'Shadowland' 'Dead Unknown'...) has been added to the set the majority of which NLML plan to record when they return to Einstein studios in August 2003.

Anything else?
