Greetings! Welcome to my page here on soundclick.com. My name is Albert AKA Noistek. I am the #1 hardcore jungle/ DnB/ ragga producer in the Baltimore/ D.C. area. I represent The Digital Conspiracy-
a team of producing DJs dedicated to geting our area on the map based on original talent and skills in beat making.
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
I have been making beats since the days of "Yes, yes, ya'll!" I started out making hip hop beats to back up both myself, and the others in the various rap groups that i was a part of. I then started producing industial style breaks, after being exposed to it due to my family's move to the suburbs. Once I was old enuff, I started patronizing various clubs in D.C. and B-More and fell in love with Techno. Finally, one night I wound up at America's #1 dance party at the time (Buzz- www.buzzlife.com) and heard drum and bass/ jungle for the first time. I was BLOW AWAY! I immediately took to making incredibly dark, hardcore drum and bass/ jungle and have been doing so ever since.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
I have "played" live. I employ the use of Final Scratch to create entire live DJ sets using (ONLY) my own masters! No other DJ in the Del-Mar area does this.
Your musical influences
I'm influence by many things. Yet all of these influences have one thing in common. Noise! Run-DMC (R.I.P. Jay!), old L.L., Public Enemy, Nine Inch Nails, Ministry, Filter, Goldie, Technical Itch, Dylan, the list goes on....
What equipment do you use?
I do all of my creations in the virtual environment. I use Reason, Sonar, Live, project 5, etc...
My bass and synth sounds come courteousy of some of the sickest plug-ins on the market. I have done lots of research and collecting of the best and baddest including: G-Media's impOSCar, LinPlug's Albino2, Novation's V-Station and Bass Station, Synapse Audio's Hydra and many more!
