No Hands

No Hands could be described as a mix of Sonic Youth, the Gun Club and the Talking Heads. No Hands have a significant breadth of influences spanning 60's soul and Jazz, New York Punk and modern experimental punk rock.
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
No Hands glean the trashy elements of seminal 70's punk and soul performers such as This Heat, Suicide, the Velvet Underground, Otis Redding, the Modern Lovers, and Aretha Franklin. These are mated with the jarring, love-infused sounds of the Constantines, Sonic Youth and Devo, just to name a few. No Hands yearn to combine the ramshackle simplicity of dirty punk n' roll with electronic samples and fat, juicy keyboard chords.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
No Hands is a western Canadian band and as such plays primarily in, uh, western Canada. No Hands will be touring Canada in the summer/fall of 2005.
