No Ghost are a mix of punk, hip hop, rock, ska and a whole load of other shit. We started about three years ago but only got things together about a year and a half ago. These tracks are from the new demo BEE-EYE-ITCH!
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
the band history is long and unimportant. we've had about 25 different members, several gigs and recorded one demo.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
yea we play live. i love it like....playin live is the best, especially when the crowd get goin with you. when we're playin live i just lose myself and forget about everything.
one time we were playin live n there were a load of people wacthin us that i didnt think really liked us. towards the end of the set everyone was dancin to the music as well as some of the people who worked in the hall...that was class.
another time our guitarist stage dived and the crowd were all cheering. he went a little too far and you could hear everyone in the crowd going completely silent. he got back up again and they all cheered more.
Your musical influences
i listen to a wide range of stuff like punk, grunge, rap, hip hop, ska, reggae, funk, blues, metal (only some tho), funk, traditional irish music (the pogues). fav artists would be - rancid, rage against the machine, talib kweli, dead pres, everclear, sublime...to name a few.
the rest of the band are more into metal, punk, funk n ska!!!
