Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
Started by myself in Paris, France, in 2005, after having stoped real musical projects for about 5 years. I went back to songwriting, worked on home-recording techniques, arranged some famous covers to fit my style, put together a playlist and started look for gigs. I was playing about once or twice a month in different pubs in Paris, when I relocated to Chicago at the end of 2006. I used last year to work on my instrument and open my mind to jazz and other styles, and now want to gather a power trio (+/- keyboard) to tour Chicago! I met Robert (drums) about a month ago, and we are currently "auditioning" bass players to move on with the project.
Your musical influences
Olivier: Blues, Soul/R&B, Funk, Jazz
Robert: Reggae, Latin Music
The idea is of course to blend both our influences, with lyrics in French
