Nme, real name Jake, is a 16 year old MC/Rapper/Producer/DJ from Birmingham, England.
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
DJ'ing from the age of 11, MC'ing from the age of 14 and producing from the age of 14/15, Nme is a very talented artist. Being influenced by MC's and DJ's at his local youth club, Nme feels he is ready to throw himself into the music industry.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
Nme used to DJ and MC in front of others at his local youth club, but is yet to take to the stage.
Your musical influences
Too many to mention. My family are the main influence for my music as they are all good musicians and I've listened to a wide range of music from a very young age.
My life and the experiences I've been through all have an influence on my music.
Anything else?
Nme has many experiences to share with the world and he does this through his music. "Its a way to express how you feel" he says. All his experiences are reflected in many of his lyrics.
