Nixster
My name is Nixster. I hail from Madison, WI and I create Dance/Electronica/Industrial and occasionally Rock. I use all Sonic Foundry software for recording and use an Epiphone Les Paul Special for my guitar work through a Line 6 50/50 amp (I love that amp!). Right now my vox are sub par at best due to low funds for mics and decent moniters, I'm sure most of you can relate. I started off in a folk duet here in Wisconsin and have graduated to a harder edge vibe. Aside from my solo work I am in a couple of bands. One is a Faith No More kinda thing called "The Scarred" and the other is an Industrial effort that we have yet to name. I'd love to hear from like minded individuals who have a liking for industrial electronic music. Feedback is great!
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
Just internet sites basically. I'm also on Acid Planet, mp3.com and IUMA.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
Not yet. The stuff I do solo would be very hard to pull off live without a backing band.

What equipment do you use?
I use Acid Pro 2.0, Sound Forge 4.5, Vegas, My Les Paul, Flextone 50/50, and all kinds of plug-ins.
