Peeling potatoes eh. Maybe you to to do that more. Great song, great voice, great guitar. And a great looker to boot. Who can ask for more. Great song!

Song: These Old Hands
Great song. The skipping is more notcieable on this one. Mastering? Why the skipping? Editing? You have to figure how to not skip. Good in grade school or throwing stones across the water but not so in recording. Great vocals and lyrics on this song.

Song: Doin' Time In My Mind
Real nice blues song. Skips are almost unnoticeable but not enough to worry about. Great concept, Doin' Time in your mind. Thats what the blues is all about.

Song: These Old Hands
This a great song but for some reason I feel something is missing.
I don't know what it is but it needs background vocals & maybe you might want to increase the tempo.
Passion is one thing this song doesn't lack.
I believe if you upped the tempo it'll match the passion of your voice thus maximize the emotional effect.
The skipping doesn't seem to bothersome it almost sounds like you recorded off a vinyl sans the vinyl sound.

Very good skipping is a slight problem but you might want to edit or remove those problem areas.
The song has the feel of the old fashion jukebox music.

Super phenomenal exceptional!
I heard a skip on this song you could leave it alone people might think its an effect like delay or get yourself a heavy duty audio editor such as Bias Peak, Steinberg Wavelab or Sony Soundforge.
Peak is Mac only. Wavelab 7 should be here by the end of the year will be be for Mac/PC.
Soundforge is Windows only plus all three have three different versions at different price points.
Another program is Melodyne & though its not its forte but that is always subject 2 change, its Abelton Live.
Lite versions of the song also exist of Live.
You may find these programs very easy or not so easy but never fear Youtube is here.
Type learn & the subject you'll be amazed.
Type in "learn spanish," as an example.

This is a good song.
I don't hear any skips on this song if they do exist as you claim maybe you should let it be.
Songs should be sometimes treated like people should be like them as they are.
You should check out, "Big Cat Daddy," if you already haven't.
