Ninja Squad
Ninja Squad comin' straight outta K-Town.
You ain't heard nothin' like this before, so done brace yo'self son.
Shameless, Rythmless, and 2/3 White with a little bit of aZn style mixed in.
Seriously though, We ain't got nobody gifted in makin' beats to rap to, so a lot of th' stuff you'll hear here is crummy license-free loops and basically our goof-off stuff... Our real stuff uses copyrighted music tracks (don't worry, we don't sell any or our cds, just hand em to friends)
So if any track-laya' beat-playa's out there wanna flow with us, thats chill, hit me up.
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
Started in 2000, with just me, William, (aka Hwan-Hung Lo) laying down tracks over loops. Around 2k3-2k4, two others joined the band, Josh (aka K-Komm) and Kyle (aka R-W-B, Random White Boy). Since then we been laying the flow like one should not be givin the right too.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
Not yet, but maybe soon if we get a fan base...
Your musical influences
I think our style is a lot like a more free-flowing ICP in terms of outright crazy-ness. But we throw ten times more random stuff into the mix... Seriously though, we don't even know what goes into it.
What equipment do you use?
ACID PRO 5.0, Sound Forge 7, and a walmart-discount keyboard. Or something. Ninja Masks are required. Just got an actual mic.
Anything else?
WE PUT K-TOWN ON THE MAP. WOOT WOOT!!!
Yeah, and uh, we got a bunch of fuggin tracks, but copyright laws and all, we can only privately distribute those tracks. sad cause they are sum of our fattest tracks. Hit me up if ya'll wanna be in on the freshness.
