Nil Carborundum

Nil Carborundum haven't performed since late 2009 but plan to make a comeback very soon, with an album slowly but surely in production also. Lead Vocals Rhythm Guitar, Vocals, Live Backing-Tracks Lead Guitar, Vocals
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
From 2007 to 2009, Nil Carborundum were showing their faces in venues fairly regularly, 99% of the time in Leeds but with the occasional gig booked elsewhere around Yorkshire. It's a shame we had to take a break because gigging is always a great experience. People have told us we are the tightest backing-track band they have heard, and we were once applauded during soundcheck with people asking bewildered how we keep in time! But as we usually only play with pre-arranged backing-tracks from a laptop, I'd have to say my favourite gig was when we had a live drummer when we supported Hecate Enthroned. He was doing us a favour for the one gig, but it's a shame he couldn't stay with us, good drummers are very busy people!
