Nika Moore
My name is Nika Moore. I am 27 years old and have been writing since i was 12. I first wrote a song as a school project and then my music teacher realised I had a knack for it so encouraged me to write more. Soon I was performing my songs in school concerts and even came third in a local radio competition to have my song published by EMI. that was a highlight at 14 years old.
I studied music as a GCSE and music technology in college as a hobby. My parents bought me my first studio equipment which although its dated now, I still use today.
I mainly write from personal experience, and unfortunately it tends to be sad experiences. But it works for me.
I am most proud of my song Fairy Tales, it is by far my favourite. I have just re-recorded it with Iconic Artist Management Ltd and I think it sounds awesome now. It sounds now exactly as I wanted it to when I first wrote it. I feel better when I listen to it.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
I often go to open mic nights at a local pub but so far have yet to break into the music scene and branch out in that area.

all I really want is for people to hear and enjoy my music, and if I make a little money its a bonus. I just think i have this gift for a reason and want my songs to be heard.
