Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
The National Institute of Education Choir (NIE Choir) is under the wing of the Visual and Performing Arts division of the Music department in NIE, NTU, Singapore. Under the guidance of the conductor, Ms Linda Tan, and the pianist, Mr Paul Grosse, the choir has proven itself to be one of the premier tertiary choral-groups in Singapore.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
We perform in NTU for the Exxon-Mobile Campus Concerts, and occasionally perform at other concert-venues too.
Your musical influences
Choral works, including classical, gospel and jazz.
What equipment do you use?
Piano, double-bass, jazz-set and other instruments which can add colour to the music.
