Nick Lombardi
Played this one with our son Casey=(drummer) He was visiting us. I threw him into the fire, in the studio on the kit. He listened to the original song 1 x, then he crushed it. He is a solid drummer, like a human beat master..., plays for the music.
Figured I should try a Christmas tune. Its a bit dark, but it was way darker before I edited... had to get it up in the spirit of where we realize we can fix anything. Christmas has changed quite a bit...
Great haunting chords= Em and Asus2, cross pik w/a pinkie in there on the high E string. Just get lost in it. The great Lou Reed said "One chord is fine. Two chords are pushing it. Three chords and you're into jazz"! Now how 'bout that.
Another where David was in the studio on Bass and some Guitar parts. Plus Bek harmonizing. Apologies for the counting the middle break section. I did not realize I was open counting and its on the cymbal track so its stuck in there... whoops!
Marcus Rowe in the room applying his tasteful Stratocaster parts; he left the planet far too soon, and we'll miss him forever. He be the tantamount Floydaholic! primarily with his love of Gilmore. Also David is in the room bringing the bass thunder.
Crazy cool song=timeless! Marcus again doing his tasty parts on guitar, and David on another nice bass line. Its great having skilled players in the room.
Great song by Louisiana LeRoux. Bek Crushed the vocals. We did this on ancient legacy equipment. She brought it, and did all her harmonies. Really fun song.
A fun tune. David on Bass n some guitar and Bek hitting it with some harmonies
Used my late brother Mike's original 1967 Mustang= It hung in with a crazy good sound. David on Bass my friend Simon from England on lead guitar from across the pond. The 'last chords' are for Mike if he's listening, he will know it's his guitar.
Elton and Co are great. David hit it with a great bass line. I learn a lot by trying Elton's music.
Another sweet KISS tune, with David on bass again.
Rob Leach Sound Click 'Rocketfile' had these sweet chords on his page. I asked 'can I add some vocs and cuts',he obliged me. We played live shows 40 plus yrs ago up in New England. He is a true deep talent. We didn't just play live,' We made Majik'!
My younger brother is learning guitar so when he visited we both hammered out the chords, then he got behind the kit to put the drums deep in the pocket. He'd just had a major surgery so his left arm was troublesome, but as usual, he came thru.
Trapped Bek to sing another one back in the day... I really like her voice. She has a great ear... she mixed our live band for years.
Bek singing again... we did it exploring some really dated legacy equipment.
Rebecca requested this one. My part is drum-kit and singin. A very talented musician 'David' came to the studio to play guitar and bass
Early Beatles, right now becoming 70 yrs of age I'm fully appreciating their music...
Always enjoyed the KISS band, So I had to try it. Most of my stuff is played by me in the studio but essentially the only thing I feel confident with is drum kit. 'David' played the bass on this and escalated it nicely.
Gave it my best but what can one say.... it's The Eagles! They're crazy talented.
My dear Sister Gretchen from Ocala Fl requested this one... she is a music lover, all styles.
