Nick Hutson is a composer, lyricist, orchestrator and arranger from London.Band/artist history
A pianist and composer, Nick holds a degree in composition and is currently studying for his masters in Musical Theatre Writing.
Writing credits include: CoasterBoy: The Musical (book, music and lyrics) and, with Dominic Lindesay-Bethune, he has written music (and co-written lyrics) for: The House on Penbrook Way, Far Away Academy and Grizzly Tales for Gruesome Kids. Film scoring includes The Helpless Survivor. (written and produced by Dominic Lindesay-Bethune).
He is presently developing a stage musical adaptation of Just William (book, music and lyrics), due to be workshopped in Autumn 2007.
Nick plays piano in various restaurants and at private functions. He also enjoys traveling, theme parks and films.Have you performed in front of an audience?I play the piano in the big band that I am in. Every gig is great fun! I have done cover performances (Piano Man by Billy Joel and Great Balls of fire and Whole Lotta Shakin' Goin' On by Jerry Lee Lewis) before, aswell.

You're really quite the prolific writer... you seem to have a nature ability to find the dynamics in music, which is what musical theatre is all about, I believe... Keep up the good work! If you have a minute, please listen to some of my home-made recordings... some are just straight tunes, others are from musicals I've written.
