I have been scoring films for a couple of years now and I have been having a great time with it.Band/artist history
I was enrolled in Brooks Institute of Photography when I realized my passion for music. I played Saxophone at the age of 11. I picked it up quick. Soon I was transposing John Williams scores, learned by ear, for my entire 6th grade band. High school band was a joke. The teacher was a moron. We'd spend 30 minutes tuning our instruments, I was forced to sit 2nd chair to a senior, even though I was much better than he was. And I think my band teacher sold my saxophone because it was taken from my band locker and he had the only keys. After high school, I moved to Venice Beach, CA. Had some really tough times. Ate at a community kitchen for a couple months. Found the coolest dog in the world in Ohio on a cross country trip. Got accepted to Brooks Institute of Photography two years later. Went to Brooks for a year and a half before realizing that music, not film, was my passion. I graduated from Brooks in 2005 and moved back to LA. I score feature / short films. Thanks for your interest...feel free to drop me a line. NickHave you performed in front of an audience?I arrange all of my music on Pro Tools and Logic. The library is a midi sampler called Symphonic Orchestra Gold. It is an incredible library sold by East West. You can find it on www.soundsonline.com and if you have the extra cash you should also check out their choir program. Unbelievable!

Very movie-ish, and works great! Fantastic samples you have. I really dig that flute sample in your newest tune. I've been looking for a breathy sound just like that one! And yeah, I also recently found out about that TCM competition, looks right up your alley! Good luck!
