hey its me, nic. i'm an aspiring artist--emphasis on "aspiring." artistry, to me, is a lofty and difficult goal, one that i have yet to achieve, one that will take tons more practice, bleeding fingers, massive migraines, small sweaty venues, and a ridiculously miniscule amount of money. but it is an important goal. because i believe that true artistry is the only way to truly please the One who has given me the gifts i have.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
i play live anywhere and everywhere. i had a cd release a couple weeks back, and had the most fun onstage that i've ever had. i think i'm truly blessed to have a group out there that actually wants to hear my music.
Your musical influences
i'm acoustic. one guitar. on my cd i've got some keyboards and some tasteful uses of drum loops. i like rock. classic rock. i like ballads. i like blues. i like jazz. i like movie soundtracks.
