neXus 8

Nexus 8 is an E.B.M., electropop, futurepop, industrial and synthpop band from Guadalajara, México.

Up to now the band has released 2 albums, 1 remixes E.P., remixed local and foreign electro bands and participated in some electro compilations.

Buzwan X7 and Egom 5 meet in 1994 and began the adventure having theirs headquarter at the city of Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mex.

After experiencing music genres such as the new age, ambient and instrumental during 5 years, it is decided to change course and get involved into the electro scene, so in late 1999 Nexus 8 was born as a mainly E.B.M. project.

From that time on, the Nexus 8 has been touring around the country, composing and remixing.

In mid 2005 year Egom 5 leaves the band.

In late 2006 year Durden and Mxtplz became N8’s agents.

Purpose: Become human, become alive!

Philosophy/concept: Individual comprehension of human nature and life itself, being Nexus 8 the helping device to get self discovering.

We play live and we love it. We usually play in electro clubs or in some alternative spaces.
