New Media
New Media, a Connecticut-based band of 18/19 year old musicians, is already a commercially viable, talented and professionally focused group. New Media has crafted a tight, professional, haunting, darkly powerful sound. Influences range from Black Sabbath to Incubus, Radiohead, Bush, and Silverchair. A conglomeration of distortion, melody, diverse styles, thought-provocation, and intelligence in addition to signature vocals, virtuoso guitar, and bass and drum work that weave together to form a distinctive presence. Gig and studio-tested, New Media has produced over 20 original works. Fresh out of the studio with their first full independent release, the band is expanding its gig repertoire for touring around the New York metropolitan area.

A mix of Incubus, Silverchair, Bush, and other rockers... we're more into melody than crushing your ears with distortion, but we do some of that too.
