NEGATIVEHEAD WILL LOAD UP THE BLACK AND GREEN 1968 WINNEBAGO,FILL THAT FUCKER FULL OF GAS AND COME TO YOUR FUCKING TOWN LEAVING YOU WITH BLEEDING EARS AND A SMILE!!!HAHAHA FUCKERS!!!
Negativehead was formed by Jeremy Zumaran (ex- Robed in Exile) and Aaron Cooper (ex- Bliss) in Santa Cruz California in the Summer of 2003. Zumaran And Cooper were so sick of cookie cutter bands and stale lifeless music that they joined forces to create the beast of Negativehead. We are anti-scene and anti-trend. Zumaran and Cooper searched for about a year to find the right guitarist (Gene Morris ex- playing along to Slayer and Pantera in his room) and bassist (Glenn Nichols ex- SomanydynamoS). Quite a few people auditioned but they found that the majority were conscerned about looking pretty or "getting pussy" instead of what is important...music! Now that the line up is solidified there is no stopping their unique brand of Freak Metal.
We play everywhere they let us, usually once. Currently the Central coast of California
Tom Waits, Dillinger Escape Plan, Mayhem, Nusrat Fateh Ali Kahn, Ween, Einsturzende Neubauten, GG Allin, Slayer, Entropy, Nihilism, Glenns beard, Midget Porn, Cha'Ka from "Land of the Lost"... under the influence...
DW drums, Jackson guitars, Mesa Boogie amps, SWR amps, Warwick guitars
