Nebular Frost
Nebular Frost is a 3 piece black/thrash/death metal band from Bristol, England. We've been together for just over a year and have 2 demos available.
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
Before Nebular Frost, there was Twisted Circle, which consisted of Harry Bryan (vocals, guitar, bass) and Matt Smithers (drums). They had played in several different bands beforehand since the summer of 2004, each time moving closer towards black metal. After their original bassist left, they decided to focus more towards black/death metal. As Twisted Circle, Harry and Matt did a few scratchy recording on a 4-Track recorder. At the time, their influences were based hugely upon Dimmu Borgir, Cradle of Filth etc.
In about the October of 2005, Andy Price became the new bassist of Twisted Circle, and the name of the band was changed to Nebular Frost. Harry, Matt and Andy had played together for a while, but nothing ever really happened until Andy joined Twisted Circle.
By this time, the band’s influences had changed to an older black metal style, such as that of Mayhem, Burzum, Celtic Frost and Emperor. The first demo was recorded around March 2006, under the title “Twisted Circle.”
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
