Nathaniel Knox, also known as Deezy, was Born in Pensacola, Florida on February 4, 1982 to mother Glenda Knox and father Curtis Clark. After his parents split up, he along with his four younger
brothers where raised in the small town of Fort Walton Beach, Florida. Deezy began writing rhymes at the adolescent age of 13 and was recording in studios by the age of 17. As he grew up, music became a major aspect of his life because writing was the only way he could express himself. By performing at parties, night clubs, and getting drops on underground mix tapes like “Money Never Sleeps“ (M.N.S) by Manifest Music, Deezy built a name for himself as “The King of Foat Town”.
“The phrase ‘Foat Town’ is just another name for the city of Fort Walton Beach”, Deezy explains, “South Okaloosa County, about 40 minutes east of Pensacola, Florida.”
Prior to later achievements, Deezy was also featured on the SP2 mix tape by M.N.S. Squad, Ceez’s solo album which is scheduled to be released this summer. In 2002 Deezy relocated to Miami, Florida, where he was able to network with promoters from South Beach. These connections lead to auditions and performing live on stages in clubs on South Beach including the Rogue Bar.
To add to his recent experiences, Deezy is currently being featured on more then 50 mix tapes across the south, including states such as Florida, Alabama, Georgia, and parts of Texas.
Touching every life line he can, Nathaniel Knox, B.K.A. Deezy to the hip hop industry is forever on his hustle. If there were only one word to describe him it would be Dedicated, dedicated to doing whatever it takes to reach the top. It’s just a matter of time before a label will notice Deezy and embrace his passion for the music.Have you performed in front of an audience?Yes I do perform live in almost place I can. Mostly in florida. Cities like Miami, Tallahassee, Fort Walton Beach, Pensacola, Panama City. I love every momment of it. Whenever I'm given an oppurtunity to show my talent I take advaantage. Every time I get on stage its like a special momment.
