Naztee
Naztee is an independent artist who is currently working on completing his debut CD which is a mixtape titled "For My People". That album will be released in April 2006.
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
I started out making beats and selling them. That evolved in DJing at local spots which in turn evolved into freestyling which evolved into the "hunger for more".
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
I do freestyles and voice overs lived any and every where I can. I love it.
Your musical influences
My musical influence is my background. The biggest of which is going out in poverty. I have never tried to emulate another artist, I just want to sound like ME.
What equipment do you use?
Sounphonic MU1002 mixing board, AKAI MPC 2500, Sennheiser Evolution 855 microphone, Neumann Professional XLR Cables, Delta souncard, Audacity, Sonar 2.4, Adam mic stands, Sennheiser mic grips.
