Yessir, It's that nigga Nav man. I'm here to ruin this rap shit for you niggas.Band/artist history
Born September 20, 1985 in Augusta, Georgia. Nav (Antonio Freeman) was raised by his mother in a small town outside of Augusta. There he grew up in a 3 bedroom household with 11 of his family members. Times where hard for the grown ups but as a kid he didn't realize what time of lifestyle he was living until he got older. When he turned 13 years old, his father disappeared from his life. It was tough becoming a man without a father figure around but he had a strong black woman by his side, his mother. Chiquita Freeman, a hardworking woman working 16 hour days to keep food on the table for three kids. Nav didn't always have the things other kids had, new shoes and clothes didn't come that often and Christmas wasn't anything to jump around about. As a teen Nav really started to get into hiphop. At the beginning it was him and his cousins doing random freestyles and passing out tapes with crappy quality to anybody that wanted to listen. At the age of 17 he got more serious with music. He and his crew (S.W.A.T) started making noise in various cities. They passed out demos at a convention in Atlanta to AR's from Def Jam and Universal, and waited for a phone call from either but never got one. Things went downhill from there, a member of the group left and everyone was going there seperate ways. Nav put hiphop on a hold at that time and joined the Military. After 8 months of training he returned home where everyone was still broke and struggling, he helped his mother with the bills, put food on the table and tried to make anything he could easier for his mother. He relinked up with his crew, all but one member and they began doing music again with another addition to the crew to make thing even more dope. From there he's been a part of different mixtapes and solo projects. He and his crew went on to finish a mixtape just before his departure to Germany. While in Germany his crew finished a second mixtape without him but did give out shouts and showed love to him. Nav is preparing to go to Iraq right now and should be leaving soon. Let's pray and hope that he makes a safe return to continue making dope music.Contact
