Nasty Habits Band
Got Habits??
We're Nasty Habits, a trio that plays blues/rock/country/rockabilly/etc...etc....Tia Stone -- lead vocals/songwriter/bass playin chick/vampin it up Billy Caster -- guitar player extroidanaire, songwriter, backup vocals, comic relief and Tony Watts -- drummer supreme and conductor of train wrecks!
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
BJ and myself (Tia) played together for over 5 years as The Wallbangers until the tragic and untimely passing of our comrade, friend and drummer Bret "Spanky" Keys. BJ had met Anthony the year before and began jamming with him. The 3 of us met February 05 to see if we would have chemistry as a band and as fate would have it, we did. It's nice when it happens not only once, but twice in a bands career!
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
We play around Orange County, mostly at Perqs, we will be opening for the Little River Band at the Coach House in Capistrano. In our former life as the Wallbangers (RIP Spanky) We played all over Southern California and travelled to Tennessee to play the Carl Perkins Rockabilly Festival.
Your musical influences
We have an eclectic mix of influences ranging from Waylon Jennings to Danny Gatton to Golden Earring to Led Zepplin to the Stones to Elvis to Muddy Waters...pretty much the stratosphere of Rock/Country and Blues.
Anything else?
If you see us in your town, come join us as we turn it up and tear it up cuz it's SPANKY TIME!!
